Quick American Eagle Try on - transitional spring looks

Well, I really seem to be digging American Eagle and Aerie lately.  I have found so many of their new items that I LOVE!  I made a quick order of a bunch of clothing that would work for now with some layers and also later as spring arrives.  I seem to be getting addicted to flares again too, it is so fun to wear a different cut in pants!  And AE's graphic tees are awesome, I tried 2 of them below but there are also many more that I keep finding and adding to cart.  There is also a great pair of distressed jeans in this try on that are easy to wear now and on into the warmer weather coming.

This set is perfect for spring with the tank and crossover waist flare leggings or layer it up for now with a fleece blazer.  Both looks are very easy to wear. The leggings are a thin fabric so they won't be too hot and like I said it feels great to wear a different cut of pants!  The fleece blazer feels like a sweatshirt but can easily be dressed up too.  Looks cute and feels comfy, can't beat that!  Also these new heels I just picked up from Target are awesome.  They are very comfortable, have a really cute detail in the slim heel, and are a great taupe color and a simple style that will work with many outfits.

I sized up to a medium but very soft and stretchy I think a small would be just fine too.

I'm wearing in a small short, and they hit great for a bit of a cropped look, but pants hitting the floor is also coming back so I would be curious to try the regular small size as well.

I have this on in an xs and the fit is great.  This is stretchy and easy like a sweatshirt so there is some room to layer as well.

I'm wearing my true size 7 and it's a perfect fit in these heels.

These jeans are amazing!  I love the ripped slouchy fit to them and they are perfect for now and into spring with the light wash.  You can't go wrong by adding a graphic band tee to any outfit and I tied a hoodie on in case of cooling weather.  My new lavender cushion slides from Target add a fun pop of spring color.

I'm wearing a 4 regular but would consider comparing them with the 2 regular which is my normal size at AE.  I just wanted this pair to be a little oversized and slouchy...so went with the 4.

I have this on in a small and it is the perfect fit.

I have the size small but xs would also work depending on how oversized I want it to be.

I went down a size in these to a 6.

The cropped split hem pant was a first for me and I ADORE them!  Such a fun look and they have a little flare at the bottom. Very flattering to the leg as well as a slit is lengthening when you see more of the ankle.  I'll take any extra length I can get in my legs!  : )  These also come in a bunch of color options! I'm eying the marbled blue too!

Wearing in a size small.

The small size fits just right with room to move.

I have on the small here.

These leggings are fantastic!  They have a really cute ribbed detail if you look close in the pictures and the seamless fabric sucks you in with good compression!  I also love this relic color.  It's a great neutral that's appropriate for the winter weather we are having and will still look good when spring comes as well. The oversized long sleeve shirt is also an easy topper for any casual outfit now and later on.  This one is also a very nice thick fabric!

I have on a xs and it is a good compressive fit which I like in leggings.

I'm wearing an xs and could have even gone down to an xxs.

The small is shown here and there is plenty of room for layers underneath, I may try to size down one to an xs for a little bit smaller fit.

Run large.

And here are a few more springy finds I'm loving at AE!  Someone stop me because these are all in my cart just begging me to hit check out!

So, what did you think?  Easy outfits now and easy outfits in the spring!  I know we're all hoping spring makes an arrival sooner than later (I LOVE the sun) but the reality is I live in Michigan so we have a bit of winter to endure through yet!  Give a few of these fun finds a try and add a little bit of a spring vibe to your current wardrobe!
